About Me

I’m a freelance writer based in Toronto, covering lifestyle, travel, parenting, health and design. My work has appeared in a range of publications, including The Globe and Mail and Toronto Star, as well as custom magazines like Bombardier and Sotheby's.

I spent many years in magazine editorial, holding senior roles including Executive Editor of Fashion Quarterly, Senior Editor at Chatelaine and Editor-in-Chief of Mommyish.com. That experience informs my approach to storytelling, with a strong editorial eye and a deep understanding of audience and voice.

I’m forever noticing the little things: the nuances of daily life, the stories people tell and the trends that shape how we live. My writing blends curiosity, humour and a keen eye for detail, exploring the everyday experiences that make life interesting.

When I’m not chasing a story, I’m travelling, entertaining friends, walking my dog, snapping photos (@co.snaps) or keeping up with my nearly-grown kids. Parenthood continues to shape how I see the world and the stories I tell.
